Simplified portraits

A stylized digital cartoon portrait with simple, crisp lineart and flat colours.

Delivered as:
Unless otherwise specified, digital A4 size files both for digital use (JPEG or PNG) and print (PDF). You can request a custom format upon ordering.

Pricing:
Bust: 25€, additional character +8€
Half body: 35€, additional character +17€
Full body: 50€, additional character +25€

Plain background included in base price.

Detailed portraits

A portrait with a more realistic style and proportions. Detailed pencil or ink lineart with cel-shading and gradients.

Bust: 45€, additional character +22€

A custom digital portrait for your user profiles on Facebook, Instagram, or wherever you like. Cute, cartoony style with colored pencil -style textured lineart and colors.

Dog portraits

Simple: Fullbody portrait with lineart and flat, textured colors. Comes sprinkled with plants of your choosing.
Pricing: 60€, additional pet +30€

Detailed: 
Classic portrait with a tropical, planty twist. Every line of texture is hand-drawn.
Pricing: 300€, additional pet +100€

1. Inquiry

Start by sending me a creative brief – tell me about yourself and the project. Who is the illustration’s target audience and where will it be used and how? Do you have a vision in mind for the style of the illustration? What sizes and formats do you need me to provide?

2. Agreement

Based on the information you’ve given I will either send you a quote, or further questions until I have enough information to send the quote. Once we’re on the same page about the details and pricing of the job, we’ll move on to payment and production.

3. Payment

Private commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval. For commercial work I tend to send the bill before delivering the final files. 

4. Production

The steps from a blank canvas to finished work are sketching, lineart, and coloring. In some cases a reference/moodboard may come before the sketching phase. One round of edits after each phase is included in the price. Additional changes can be made for an extra charge based on an hourly wage.

5. Delivery

Once the art is finished you will receive digital files in previously agreed upon sizes and formats. Note that there is no physical product. Depending on where you live, we can arrange to print your artwork. Ask away!

Pick the type of background. Plain color is always included in base price, and pet portraits come with planty stuff by default. If you're lost, pick "send help" and describe your crisis in the free message section 😀
Choose one if relevant to your commission type. In an example scenario of human holding a pet, pick the size you want for the human. Depending on the size and complexity of the design compared to the main subject, the pet may be priced as half body or bust even if the full body is visible.
Tell me about the subject(s) of the piece. Who are they? What are they doing? Any specific expression or mood you want the art to convey? You can add links to reference pictures here.
Describe your vision for the background and the colour scheme of the piece. If you picked a plain background, you have the option to leave the colour decisions up to the gods (me). You can add links to references here.
Yes/no. If yes, when? Note that if you're running late, I may not be able to finish the commission in time. If so, I will let you know right after receiving your inquiry.
If you don't specify otherwise, you will receive your commission in the default size and file types listed above. If you want a very large print or a specific shape for a specific frame or screen, describe your requirements here, please!
