I’m a comics artist and illustrator from Turku, Finland, where I live with my dog, 70-ish plants and the thrips that come with having 70-ish plants. I graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 2018, and have since used all I learned to make more and better comics. 

I’m a member in a queer-feminist comics artist collective called Erittäin Salainen Tissimerenneitoseura. We’ve been publishing comics anthologies with various themes from horror to erotica and touring the Finnish comics events since 2016. 

In my personal work I aim to create stress-free and fun reading despite the fact that my favourite themes seem to be death and the mess that is human relationships. My recently ended webcomic Spooky Spouses is a series of comic strips about a human lady’s polyamorous relationship with a ghost and a demon. At the moment I’m working on a long-form adventure comic, which, as the name implies, deals with the cast’s relationship with the concept of death, all the while travelling together with the personification of death. Fun!

In my illustration work I’m interested in creating cartoon-style portraits, narrative imagery, and surface design.
